Abstract

One of the basic requirements of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress is the role of culture. This study is considered not only as part of the hypothetical content of Islamic-Iranian model of progress i.e. the necessity of the country’s cultural development and its mechanism, but also it presents a theoretical introduction and conceptual framework for thought, understanding and development of this pattern. In this paper, researchers investigate the link between progress and culture within the framework of Islamic-Iranian model of progress. To this end, the present paper studies the bilateral dynamic interaction between progress and culture as well as the importance of culture within the framework of Islamic-Iranian model of progress. This study believes that ignoring the complex interdependence between culture and progress in the codification of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress results in a non-inclusiveness, bias, lack of objectivity and ineffectiveness of the model. Ultimately, the present paper proposes a culture-based pattern of development as a conceptual framework for Islamic-Iranian model of progress
