The sector can help development by employing labor force, providing capital, and supplying raw materials for the industrial sector and food for the population. It is also a source of foreign exchange. Various research works have shown that the share of agriculture in the international trade and in the GDP of different countries has fallen. The fall in the share of the sector in international trade is due to the rise in the share of other products. This paper uses ECM to investigate the role of agricultural international trade on Iran’s economic growth during 1360 to 1390. The research shows that there is a positive relationship between the growth of international trade in agriculture and Iran’s economic growth, with the effect of 0.14% increase in the country’s economic growth for any 1% increase in the agricultural exports of Iran.; ; بخش کشاورزی بزرگ‌ترین بخش در اقتصاد کشورهای درحال‌توسعه بوده و می‌تواند به شیوه‌های گوناگون مانند عرضه نیروی کار و سرمایه، تأمین مواد خام و غذای ارزان، بازار برای کالاهای تولیدی در بخش صنعت و تأمین ارز خارجی، به توسعه اقتصادی کمک کند. سهم کشاورزی در تجارت جهانی همچون سهم آن در تولید ناخالص داخلی درحال کاهش است؛ باید توجه داشت که کاهش سهم کشاورزی از تجارت بین‌الملل به‌دلیل افت حجم تجارت این محصولات نیست، بلکه ناشی از رشد سریع‌تر تجارت غیرکشاورزی است. در این تحقیق با استفاده از مدل ECM تأثیر صادرات و واردات کشاورزی بر رشد اقتصادی ایران برای دوره 1390-1360 بررسی شده است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که رشد صادرات کشاورزی تأثیر مستقیمی بر رشد اقتصادی دارد؛ به این معنی که یک درصد افزایش در صادرات کشاورزی، باعث 14/0 درصد افزایش در رشد تولید ناخالص داخلی شده است و به رشد اقتصادی کمک می‌کند. https://econrahbord.csr.ir/article_103269_3e54f798bd3fa43c5e34dd26ffd95e2c.pdf
